Studio D
The 100 amp Bates drops can be used for the 10K Big Eyes, the 60 amps will power our 5K's, 6K's, and our big Chimera (with 4 1K Arrilites). The Bates will also power our Edison breakout boxes for smaller lights. Generally, students use a 5K or a 10K to simulate sunlight coming in through the window(s) and the cyc lights through the muslin for an ambient fill.

Three sets are built in Studio D, the "High Bay". On one end is a kitchen/living room three+ wall set. A door in the living room theoretically leads to a bedroom, the set for which is at the other end of Studio D. The kitchen has counters, sinks, a stove, refrigerator, cabinets, and a table and chairs.
The living room has a couches, coffee tables, recliners, TV and stand, and lamps. There are two small windows in the kitchen end and a large widow in the living room end. The room can be split by a moveable wall giving a kitchen set or a living room set in isolation.

The 8 foot walls are topped by picture molding going into sloped muslin panels that can be used as false cathedral ceiling for low angle shots, or as soft diffusion sources for an ambient fill light when they're out of frame. Five 1K cyc lights are mounted for this purpose.
At the other end of Studio D is the bedroom/bathroom three-wall set. A door in the bedroom theoretically leads to the living room in the other set. The bedroom is 16' X 12' and the bathroom is 8' X 4'. At present, the bedroom contains a bed, two tables/nightstands, and a floor-length mirror. The bathroom has a counter and mirror.
Between the two interior sets is an exterior. This set may be adapted to an outdoor cafe, bus stop, etc.
