Screen Actors Guild Colorado Branch and Regis University Partner for

Script to Screen Table Readings

The Screen Actors Guild and Regis University/Colorado Film School (as part of their Artist in Residence Program), have joined forces to create a wonderful liaison between the professional and educational communities.

As a professional actor who is a member of SAG and/or AFTRA, you’ll have the chance to share your talent while honing your skills by participating in the universities’ Script to Screen. The project will consist of Table Readings of new scripts written by fourth year students in the film degree program

For the screenwriters it’s a wonderful opportunity to experience their work being read out loud by professional performers who can bring the roles to life in a “table reading” situation.  It’s a win win for all!

The Script to Screen table readings will be presented on one special evening open for the Colorado film community to observe--allowing you to showcase your talent while serving budding filmmakers in this market.

Additionally, when these short film scripts go before the camera, you, the actor, may be cast directly from the table read or you will have the opportunity to audition—and do what you love—bring these well written roles to life on the set so that they can be seen on screen!
